It’s custom to celebrate our church softball wins/losses with a few pops at the Downtowner Lounge, aka The DT. I was sifting through old posts when I found this one today. The beautiful redhead with her head tilted back in laughter? She’s sitting next to her husband (guy on her left), and this was a few months before they found out he had inoperable cancer, in an advanced stage. We haven’t seen much of them lately, as he’s not doing well. I can’t help but long for those carefree summer days for them.
