Adventure Stories: Thrilling And Fun
I have always loved the idea of going on a great adventure. Indiana Jones was one of my first crushes when I was growing up, and I would watch movies featuring him all day long. During college, I got to travel a little bit, but when I got married and had a baby, I put aside my dreams of adventure to take care of my family. Although I do not regret my decision, I enjoy living vicariously through others by reading adventure stories.
I love all types of adventure stories. When I was younger, I really enjoyed the “Choose Your Own Adventure” books. Now that I’m older, I love to read nonfiction adventure stories written by people who have traveled the world. I frequently read blogs written by travelers, and I hope that one day when my child is older, I’ll be able to travel more and write an adventure blog myself. For now, I am enjoying hearing others’ adventure stories.
My husband gave me a Kindle for Christmas last year, and I have been able to find lots of free adventure stories to download and read on my Kindle. I may be sitting at home waiting for the laundry to finish, but in my mind, I’m on crazy adventures.
