That scene in A Christmas Story when the kid gets triple-dog-dared to stick his tongue to the metal pole and it gets stuck isn’t so funny when you accidentally freeze your fingertips to the frosty metal in the back of the (ancient) fridge while you’re trying to clean it. OUCH.
